Hello and welcome!

So you want to learn how to sew? At The Fashion Workshop we have sewing classes for absolute beginners as well as those of you who have already dipped your toes in. Pick the workshop level that works for you or bring in any project you like to the Freestyle Sessions.

Classes are run in our studio on Ghuznee Street in Wellington and most of our classes have a maximum of 6 students so you get lots of personal attention from your instructor.

We love sewing as much as you do (or will!) and always make sure our classes are fun and supportive. We'd love to see you down here sharing the sewing love.

Get these special bonus reports free when you book in for the Dresses Workshop...

BONUS 1: "How to alter the pattern to fit your unique shape and size"

BONUS 2: "When, where and how to finish seam allowances (pattern instructions do not tell you this!)"

BONUS 3: "Why your dress needs a facing, how to make a pattern for one, and how to sew it"

BONUS 4: "Why you can ignore most zip instructions that come with patterns and insert an invisible zip instead (and how to do it!)"

BONUS 5: "How to choose and sew the right hem finish for the fabric and style of your dress"
